In addition to the field facilities, I have a full endocrine laboratory at Penn State University. This lab is specifically designed to analyse blood hormones (e.g. glucocorticoids, testosterone, etc.) and fecal hormone metabolites. In addition to standard lab equipment there is a gamma and scintillation counter, lyophilizer, refrigerated centrifuge, microplate washer and reader. There is also surgical equipment for work with small mammals.
